Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV, on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at the WV National Cemetery, Grafton, WV, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Harley Jeffries officiating. Full military honors will be accorded.

Thomas Lee Patton, 78, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021, at his residence.

He was born in Kingsfort, TN, on June 15, 1942, a son of the late Reverend James and Reverend Ella Johnson Patton.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Patton, who resides at their home in Clarksburg.

Mr. Patton is also survived by his children; daughter, D’Anne Patton-Lancaster and husband Barry of TX and Frederick Patton of WV; children-by-marriage; Brian Demastus of Clarksburg, Cindy Chucci of Clarksburg and Sherri Jaspal and husband Savinder of Martinsburg; grandchildren, Alisse and Amanda Lancaster, Bracin Chucci and Paige and Alexandria Jaspal; as well as his beloved dog and best friend, Snowflake.

Thomas served in the United States Airforce. He attended Texas Bible College and at one point worked as the Dean of Men. He was the founder of the City of Refuge Church in Clarksburg. He was the author of “A Primer for Manly Living.” His hobbies included being an avid boxing fan as well as achieving his private Cessna pilot license. He was a selfless, loving man and will be greatly missed by his family.
