Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Reverend Ashley Vaughn and Reverend Greg Moran officiating.   Due to family members with asthma, there will be NO ACCEPTENCE OF LIVE FLOWERS, and visitors are encouraged to not wear strong perfumes.   In keeping with his request, Tim will be cremated following the service.

Timothy A. “Tim” Myers, 58, of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in the United Hospital Center.  He was born in Grant Town, WV on July 13, 1957, a son of the late Wayne and Marcella Johnson Myers.

 

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Jane DeMoss Myers, whom he married January 10, 1976.  Also surviving are four children, Timothy Allen Myers, Jr. of Clarksburg, Rebecca Jane Riley and her husband Kevin of Clarksburg, Devina Faye Durney and her husband Chris of Fredericksburg, VA, and Cassandra Jane Myers of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Megan Marie Myers, Eric Tyler Riley, Isaiah Michael Riley, and Joshua Allen Riley; and two brothers, David Lee Myers and his wife Amanda of Fairmont, and Rick Addison Myers of Clarksburg.  He was also preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Myers; and one sister, Sylvia Tucker.

 

Mr. Myers was employed at Keller’s Exxon before becoming a casket builder with the Clarksburg Casket Company until they closed and having retired with over 28 years of service.  Following that, he was employed at Fourco Glass Company, and as an installer with American Garage Doors in Shinnston.  Currently Mr. Myers was employed in the housekeeping department at United Hospital Center.  Tim brought tremendous joy to all the patients and his colleagues at UHC that he came in contact with.  He worked on each floor of the hospital, and touched the lives of everyone he met there.  This, by far, was Tim’s favorite job.
