Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. to conclude the visitation.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. James Catholic Church, 2107 Pride Avenue, Clarksburg, on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Akila Rodrigo T.O.R. as Celebrant.   Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Tressie Ferrise Llaneza, 98, formerly of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at the Manchin Assisted Living in Farmington, WV.

 

She was born in Clarksburg, on November 8, 1917, a daughter of the late Domenic Ferrise and Maria Perri Ferrise.

 

Her husband, Angel Llaneza, whom she married on April 13, 1947, preceded her in death on June 10, 1990.

 

Mrs. Llaneza is survived by one son, Manuel Llaneza and wife Paula of Farmington, WV; one daughter, Dianna Hayes of Nokesville, VA; six grandchildren, Todd Hayes and Malia, Troy Hayes and Marisol, Tim Hayes and Kristen, Tony Hayes and Cody, Manuel Llaneza and Ashley, and Abigail Anderson and Todd; and 13 great grandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Roger Hayes; and three sisters, Mary Mazza, Anne Pomykata and Eugenia Coulson.

 

Tressie attended Victory High School, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. James Catholic Church.
