Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.   The service will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. with Reverend Rodney Heckert presiding.   Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Wade “Buck” Koch, 80, of Mt. Clare, WV, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019, at the United Hospital Center following an extended illness.

 

He was born in Mt. Clare, on April 9, 1938, a son of the late William Thomas and Victoria Everitt Koch.

 

His wife of 42 years, Margie Jenkins Koch, passed away on June 20, 2001.

 

Mr. Koch is survived by one son, Stephen Koch of Mt. Clare and one daughter, Debra McCutcheon and companion Alan Greathouse of Mt. Clare; two grandchildren, Cassie Swisher and husband Jeff, and Crissy Carroll and companion Robert Santiago; two brothers, William Koch of McHenry, IL, and Joseph Koch and wife Jean of Lost Creek, WV; two sisters, Elva Jean Murray and husband Ralph of Mt. Clare, and Angeline Koch of Mt. Clare; as well as several nieces and nephews.   He is also survived by his companion Ann Stallman of Bridgeport.

 

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Vicky Stutler, Mamie Greynolds, Birdie Brooks and Virginia Moyers.

 

Buck formerly worked for Daniel Boone Coal Company and was a coal miner for 42 years. He loved watching wrestling, listening to karaoke and country music.  He especially loved his great-granddaughter Bella Swisher, and great-nephew Patrick Koch, and always looked forward to their visits.
