Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.  The service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at Noon with Lou Ortenzio presiding.   Interment will follow in the WV National Cemetery.

Wesley Paul Mills, 63, of Weston, WV, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital.

 

Wesley was born in Clarksburg, on January 10, 1954, a son of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Shuttle Meadows.

 

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Freeland Mills, whom he married on October 5, 1978.

 

Also surviving are one son, Timothy Mills at home, three daughters, Kristy Mills of Morgantown, Jennifer Mills and companion Lori Tuner of Clarksburg, and Amy Mills and companion Eric Perry of Charleston; eight grandchildren, Skylar Mills, Cameron Mills, Jaelyn Perry, Cobe Mills, Kasia Perry, Abrielia Mills, Jace Mills, and Chance Mills; four brothers, Ray Mills, James Mills, William Meadows, II, and David Meadows; two sisters, Mary Meadows and Patricia Alexander; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Edith Whitehair, Barbara Moran and Belinda Koch.

 

Wesley retired from Louie Glass Plant, and was a Veteran in the US Air Force.  He loved hunting and motorcycles.
