Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Smith presiding. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Wilma Costlow Allman, 82, of Clarksburg, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the Serenity Hope Assisted Living Home.

She was born in Clarksburg, WV on October 16, 1935 a daughter of the late William Howard and Anna Gladys Davies Costlow.

After attending local schools, she married David Day Allman on September 2, 1956 who resides in Clarksburg.

She was a loving mother to three surviving daughters, Nancy Allman Elder and husband James, Diane Allman Reynolds and husband Donald and Pamela Allman Ellis and husband Todd; eight grandchildren, Tara Elder and companion Brett Kalanavich, Brian Elder, Christopher Reynolds and wife Crystal, Alisha (Reynolds) Dayton and husband Timothy, Kristin (Reynolds) Jones and husband Stephen, Rachel (Ellis) Bimber and husband Eric, Stephen Ellis and wife Hannah and Jordan Ellis and wife Elizabeth; five great grandchildren, Bailee Dayton, Rylee Dayton, Halle DeCampli, Dalton Yeater and Cameron Ellis. She is also survived by one sister, Polly Dennison.

She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Molly Costlow who raised her from childhood, and sisters Helen Simpson, Carol Reager and Dolores Wall.

She retired from the Harrison County Board of Education as a secretary and was a member of the HCARSE. She was a lifetime member of the Duff Street United Methodist Church. She served in several capacities in the After 5 Christian Women’s Club. Her love for music kept her involved in the church choirs from a teenager until she could no longer sing. Now she is a member of God’s heavenly choir.
