Very sorry to learn of David’s passing. We went to high school together and after leaving the area 40+ years ago, we didn’t see each other much. Being in the Bell’s Ensemble at the Presbyterian church with him, my mother Jackie always admired David and we saw each other occasionally at church. My deepest condolences to the entire Nuzum family.

Dave brought much joy into my life though nearly 50 years. I will miss him dearly but will try to focus on the happy times we shared - and they are many. Most recently, when his family was with him, we went to Mike's Place in Kent and visited in his home and mine, adding to my treasured memories. Be free, Dave. Through your deeds, you have left Earth better than you found it and have given your family the love and strength to carry on.

I knew Mr. Nuzum when i played trumpet in the Shinnston Community Band. When my daughter played Baritone Sax one summer she was having some difficulty with one of the songs we were playing. Mr. Nuzum noticed this and approached her about it. He helped her with the piece and she played it without any further difficulty. I will always remember his kindness. So sorry to hear of his passing.

I'm so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I played music with Dave for many years. He was a fine musician and great trombonist. He contributed much to music in the area with his playing and teaching. God bless.
