Enrico Paul Insani, age 73, departed this life Thursday, October 29, 2026, at his residence following a sudden illness. He was born in Clarksburg on June 13, 1953, a son of the late Raymond B. Insani and Edmire Morel Insani. He is survived by his wife, Linda Marie Cicoff Insani whom he married on May 3, 1999.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, Enrico B. “Rico” Insani and his wife Penny of Fairmont, Robert V. “Rob” Insani and his significant other, Latisha of Weston, Elisa A. Cecil and her husband Joseph of Clarksburg, and his stepson Joseph Guzzi (Kenny Pasquale) of Kissimmee, Florida, along with several beloved grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Roberta Lynn, his grandparents, and his Uncle Karl and Aunt Betty Insani whom he thought of as his parents.
Affectionately known as “Ricco,” he retired from Star Motor after a dedicated career in the automotive industry, where he served as a parts manager at several dealerships and also worked in sales and delivery.
Ricco was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast who cherished riding through the beautiful mountains of West Virginia and neighboring states, including the famous Tail of the Dragon. These rides brought him great joy and created many lasting memories. Earlier in life, he especially enjoyed racing RC cars with his sons and was a devoted NASCAR fan, with a particular fondness for Dale Earnhardt.
His faith was also an important part of his life. During his healthier years, Ricco found great fulfillment in serving his church community at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Stonewood, where he faithfully served as both an altar server and sacristan. His dedication to his faith and willingness to serve were meaningful parts of who he was.
Per his request, services will be held privately by the family.
