Imogene Lucille Alexander England, 92, of Clarksburg passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Clarksburg on February 5, 1932, a daughter of the late Emory Howard and Edith Virginia Drummond Alexander.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John D. England in 2016.

Surviving are her children, Dr. John D. England and his wife Cathy of New Orleans, LA, Sheri England and her husband Gerald Swick of Nashville, TN, Kristi Spaur and her husband David of Queen Creek, AZ and Regina Boggess and her husband Randy of Clarksburg; and one sister, Gerry Ray of Mt. Juliet, TN.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters Ginny Powell, Jackie Swyers and Doris Reese; and one brother, Ronald Alexander.

Imogene was a long-time member of the Duff Street United Methodist Church. She loved to cook, bake and travel and was a devoted and loving wife and mother who also doted on her beloved fur baby, Poppy Magnolia. Her kindness and sharp sense of humor endeared her to everyone.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. England will be cremated.
