Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm where a prayer vigil will be held at 7:30 pm to conclude the visitation.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Casey Mahone as Celebrant.   Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Anne Marie Dellosa Abruzzino Cooper, 103, of Clarksburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at her residence.

 

She was born in Newburg on January 29, 1914, a daughter of the late Rocco and Mary Frances D’Angelo Dellosa.

 

Twice married, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Pasco Abruzzino, and also her second husband, Earl Cooper.

 

She is survived by three daughters, Gloria Selario and her husband Jim of Bridgeport, Mary Ann Abel and her husband Richard of Hawaii, and Patricia Abruzzino of Clarksburg with whom she made her home; four grandchildren, Robin Ayau of Hawaii, Nicole Anderson of Clarksburg, James Patrick Selario of Wexford, PA, and Michael Selario of Bridgeport; six great grandchildren, Marie and Michael Sabado of Hawaii, Christian and Jacob Ayau of Hawaii, Joseph Anderson of Clarksburg, and Gabriella Selario of Wexford, PA.

 

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James and Juley Dellosa; and three sisters, Antoinette Stento, Rose Perilli, and Assunta Dellosa.

 

Anne was a graduate of Newburg High School and attended WV Business College.  She was a former member of the Harrison County Senior Citizens, and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Anne was an excellent baker, having also been a good seamstress.

 

The family would like to thank Angie Goldsmith and Amedisys Hospice for their heartfelt care of our mother.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church to assist in the building of the new steps.
