My sincere condolences to all of you in the Casalinuova family on Al's passing, especially to his children: Mary, Betty, John and Carla. As a cousin who spent time in your home and around your family when we were growing up, I always had a deep respect your father and saw him as a man of high principles. Whenever I was around him as a kid, I felt like he really cared about me and was sincerely interested in me and how I was getting along. That meant a lot to me. I always enjoyed talking to him, whether in your home, around a gymnasium or on the golf course at Bel Meadow, where he, Sammy and I sometimes played golf. Perhaps it was the teacher in him that came through so strongly. Whatever it was, it was special and I appreciated it and I feel blessed to have known him. May God grant you all peace at this time of sorrow, but joy as well, at having been blessed with a loving father.

Betty Jo and family, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He was such a sweet man and I know he touched many lives. I will be thinking about you and praying for you.
