Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. to conclude the visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic, 2107 Pride Avenue, Clarksburg, with Father Akila Rodrigo as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Catherine Marie Perri Beech, 95, of Clarksburg passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Clarksburg, WV on September 7, 1921 a daughter of the late Sam Perri and Rosa Laratta Perri.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Beech on November 8, 2000.

She is survived by two sons, Ed Beech and wife Barbara of Bridgeport, WV and Michael Bertlan Beech of Clarksburg, WV; two daughters, Margaret Jean Williams of Clarksburg, WV and Linda Kay Daugherty and husband Danny of Quiet Dell, WV; nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Gabriel of Clarksburg, WV, Angie Thorpe of Clarksburg, WV and Virginia Cross of Ravenswood, WV and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind her faithful companion, Spencer, Michael’s dog.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son Joseph Bert Beech, three brothers, Frank, Dominick and John and son-in-law Ralph E. Williams

Catherine was a lifelong resident of North View, and a lifetime member of St. James Catholic Church. She was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved to cook and bake for her family, especially Easter Bread.  She also would share with her many neighbors and friends.  She had a heart of gold when it came to sharing.
