Hello all. Dave and I were stationed at Camp LeJeune, NC in the late '70s, and early '80s. We were in Surveillance and Target Aquisition (STA) Platoon, H and S Company, 3rd Batallion, 6th Marines. We also did our jungle training in Panama. Dave taught me how to do high speed lane changes in his red Pontiac Astor. No one was around, of course....safety first. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I can scan and forward pics if anyone is interested. AT EASE bro. Zak

I will always cherish the memories of Dave coming up from the pressroom to tell me a silly Dad Joke or just be rotten every day. He was a great co-worker who made the day more pleasant. He is missed and won't be forgotten. Rest easy, Dave.

Our deepest sympathies for the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. We didn’t know him well but through Kristyn we knew so much. He raised a wonderful, strong and very loving daughter that we love very much. We wish you all God’s comfort in the difficult days to come.

What a perfect photo of Dave. His smile just lit up the room. It was a joy and a blessing to be around him & his family at WVVNF.
