Dennis “Chris” Christensen passed away unexpectedly July 23, 2016 at the age of 61.
“Chris” is survived by his wife Pamela Rose Christensen; sisters Debra Craythorn and Stephanie Christensen; Won Cha Cho, mother of daughter Tina Stinson and sons Dennis Christensen and William Brown; step-son Christopher Shaney; step-daughter Kellea Walraven; 11 grandchildren: Lauren, Savannah, Jordan, Kassidy, John, Michael, David, Neile, Asia, Aria, and William; 1 great-granddaughter Madison.

“Chris” was born August 22, 1955 in Murray, UT to Dale and Joyce Christensen.  He graduated from Layton High School.
“Chris” enlisted in the U.S Army in July 1973 as a 63B-40 (Light Wheel Vehicle Mechanic) and later changed his MOS to 63T-40 (Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Mechanic).  He retired from active duty in February 1988—attaining the rank of Sergeant First Class.  During his service he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal with Bronze, Good Conduct Medal (4 loops), National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (III), Army Service Ribbon, and the Overseas Service Ribbon (II).
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and The American Legion.
A graveside service will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery, 42 Veterans Memorial Lane, Grafton, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Bishop Chris Chaney presiding.
