Obituaries

John Draper England, 84, of Old Davisson Run Road, Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at his residence.  He was born in Belington on February 28, 1932, a son of the late Walter John and Inez Blanche Cathell England.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Imogene L. Alexander England, whom he married June 9, 1951. John always told people that God made Imogene just for him.

Also surviving are one son, John David England and his wife Cathy of River Ridge, LA; three daughters, Sheri Leigh England and her husband Gerald Swick of Nashville, TN, Kristi Sue Spaur and her husband David of Queen Creek, AZ, and Regina Ann Boggess and her husband Randy of Clarksburg.

John was a graduate of Bridgeport High School, was a retired courtesy driver for Harry Green Chevrolet, and was a member of Duff Street United Methodist Church.   John had a passion and a love for gardening and canning, and was an amazing husband and devoted father.

There will be no public visitation.  In keeping with his request, John will be cremated.
