Dearest Heather and your precious girls and son. I've passed you and the kids at your house on my way to Oakwood Circle (just up the hill a bit from you). I've spoken to you twice (white Tiguan)...No I don't expect you to remember. Angie Watson a dear friend of mine just told me of Mark. Although I didn't know him and only spoke and waived to you a few times on my way home my heart just sank hearing this devastating news. I know you don't know me, but I would do anything that would help you and your children if you need. I'm sure you have many friends, but please allow me to extend my compassion and sincere love to you. Email if there is ANYTHING I can do as I'm a few seconds away. Cooking something or baking so you don't have to for you and the kids...ANYTHING. Shawna Cuppett 104 Oakwood Circle, Bridgeport WV

I extend my deppest sympathy and love to Mark's family and friends. I knew him well in college. He was a wonderful guy. Alwys fun and friendly to all. So smart. My heart really goes out to those closest to him. He was a special person and I can only image how hard it is for you all right now. I see his picture and can feel his personality and have a flood of memories - every single one happy. Goodbye Mark, I am grateful to have known you.

I first met Mark in 1992 when we lived on the same floor at Summit Hall in Morgantown. I didn’t see him for many years until our pathes crossed at an MLBC dinner. I was fortunate to work on several projects with Mark and to call him a friend. Mark was one of the nicest genuine guys I ever knew. My deepest condolences.

Regina and I are deeply saddened by Mark’s passing and we offer our deepest condolences to each of you. I had the pleasure of working with Mark at Mason Dixon and then Percheron Energy for the past several years. In my time and experiences with Mark, he was always the most helpful in giving advice in our difficult work and his knowledge contributed to my success. Personally, he was warm, kind, sincere with a positive outlook on life and always had a tremendous smile on his face. He always took the time to explain in detail when offering advice and although very busy in his position as Director of Title here in the Northeast for Percheron, he took the time to be an invaluable resource. I very much respect his dedication to excellence in his work and in his service to our country. I am fortunate enough to be in Simpson Creek Baptist Church’s praise band and choir and would always see Mark and his beautiful family from the stage. Inevitably during each service we would make eye contact as business colleagues and he would acknowledge me with a wink or smile with that special sparkle in his eye. If there is anything that we can do to be of service to you and your family, please let us know. Mark is greatly missed already and when we met the other morning to announce Mark’s passing, there was not a dry eye in the room. We love you all and pray for you in this very difficult time.

This is such devastating news. Mark was always kind and respectful when we'd exchange emails or phone calls for work. I wish I had expressed my appreciation for all his hard work and attention to detail. I guess you always think you have more time. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

I am shocked and saddened by the news of Mark's untimely passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and his host of friends and working partners. But now a word of encouragement, Mark always had a pleasing and kind word for all he encountered, he always left a place with more joy and happiness just from his being there. Mark, thank you for all the love and joy you shared with all of us.

This news is so sad and so shocking; a wonderful man taken way too soon. I knew him through MLBC/AAPL & worked with him on a Ohio project. He was always so cheerful and just plain nice. My sympathy to the family and friends of Mark.

Dear sweet Heather, Words cannot express the shock and sadness I feel for your great loss! I will be in prayer for your beautiful family. May the peace of God that transcends all understanding guard your heart and mind in Christ. ??

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Mark. I am so sorry for your loss! I only spoke with Mark via phone or email when we needed to discuss a project or issue with a project I was responsible for and he always ended the email in his own way which I think is very appropriate now: v/r Mark
