Mitch Taft Gory, 53, of Jane Lew passed away on at his residence.
He was born in Clarksburg on June 8, 1966, a son of the late Mitchell Judd and Erma Jean Cottrill Gory.
Surviving are seven brothers and sisters, Bonnie Stanley of Virginia, Judy Crites and her husband Joe of Philippi, Nancy Eaton of Bridgeport, Bob Malcomb and his wife Lori of Clarksburg, Allen Malcomb and his wife Sandy of Clarksburg, Leonard Jeffries of Mt. Clare, and Richard Gory of Mt. Clare; two brothers-in-law, Rodney Lindsay and Eddie Farnsworth; one sister-in-law, Debbie Vore; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Vore and Michael Gory; and two sisters, Debbie Lindsay and Donna Farnsworth.
Mitch was a graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School and was a Dallas Cowboys fan.
In keeping with his wishes, Mitch was cremated.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
