I am praying that your family will be comforted through this sorrowful time. God knows our pain and provides us with comfort. (Psalms 9:9&10) He promises that we will see our loved ones again. John 5:28 tells us that he will remember our loved ones and give them life again. Revelations 21:3&4 provides us with a future promise that soon God will remove death forever. May this promise give you comfort and hope.

While the loss of a loved one is never easy, even when anticipated, it is most certainly the hardest when they are taken from us too soon. Your recent loss of your son who has left us at such a youthful age is definitely in the category of those hard losses for which there is so painful a reminder of what might have been. We offer our sincere condolence and deepest sympathy on your loss. May the outpouring of sympathy, the kind acts of friends and strangers and the comfort in knowing that your loss is felt by many, help you through this difficult time. I ask for God's blessings on you and your wonderful family. May you find the courage and strength to move forward in peace and confidence and in knowing that his was a life well-lived.

I am totally heartbroken. Spencer was a fun-loving, respectful, smart young man. I enjoyed having him in class. He always had a smile that was contagious. My prayers are with you, Devin, and family.

Our hearts are broken, we feel for the Selmon family and friends. I know there's nothing I can say to help eases your pain, but hopefully these bible verses will bring some comfort. Matthew 5:4; “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Proverbs 3:5; "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." Matthew 19:14; "But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
