Dr. Kenneth Paul “Kenny” Wilson, 81, of Yoakum, Texas, passed away December 22, 2024, with his loving wife, Linda Wilson, by his side. Kenny was born January 4, 1943, in Clarksburg, WV, the son of the late Warren F. “Bud” Wilson and Neva M. Wilson Smith.

Along with his beloved wife, Kenny is survived by his children, Craig Wilson (Lisa) of Bridgeport, WV; Shannon Wilson of Clarksburg, WV; Tiffany Batcheller of Clarksburg, WV; Jimmy Varner (Tiffany) of Morgantown, WV; and BreiAnne Varner Redd (Jon) of Wheeling, WV; his grandchildren, Caitlin Wilson (Keith), Grayson Batcheller, Lucas Batcheller, Logan Wilson; Roma Cava; one great grandchild, Grier Wilson Axton; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Kenny is also survived by two brothers, Don Wilson and Warren F. “Buddy” Wilson; long-time friend and business partner, Dr. Robert “Bob” Martino; as well as caretaker/friend, Felicia Havins.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Timothy Paul Wilson, and one grandson, Timothy Clay Wilson, and several beloved aunts and uncles.

Kenny was a native of the Clarksburg, WV area and 1960 graduate of the former Victory High School. He completed his undergraduate work at West Virginia University (WVU) and was a graduate of the WVU School of Dentistry. He served in the U.S. Air Force at Ellsworth Air Force base in Rapid City, South Dakota before returning to his hometown to open his first dental practice.

Kenny, or “Dr. Wilson” as known to many, started his first dental practice in Nutter Fort, WV in 1969. The practice grew out of its Nutter Fort location and moved to the current Bridgeport location. Dr. Robert Martino joined the practice in 1990, and Wilson Martino Dental was formed in 1992. Kenny and Bob worked side by side to grow the businesses, setting up seven dental practices throughout West Virginia, which ultimately allowed Kenny to retire and spend his time in Texas with his wife, Linda, by his side every step of the way. Linda’s love for horses and Kenny’s love for cattle led to the establishment of the KLW Ranch, which enabled them to spend their time doing what they love. Kenny was an avid outdoorsman, and some of his fondest moments were spent hunting, fishing and traveling with close friends and family.

A Celebration of Life for Family and friends will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 3p – 7p at The O by Oliverio’s, 2036 Anmoore Road, Bridgeport, WV. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenny’s honor to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (https://t2t.org ).
