My Aunt Autrice did not play? She had a beautiful smile and she could scare you into next week. But I had so much respect for her discipline. She was only teaching me right from wrong. Her discipline has helped mold me into who I am today. She said always stand up for yourself. Don’t ever let people run over you. As long as your right? Stand up for yourself. Well her suffering is over and she is with the Lord. Living out of town we lost touch but will always cherish the many memories of her. Rest easy Aunt Autrice and say hi to Mom and dad for me...??????

Giving honor to God. I would like to express my appreciation for my Aunt Autrice. She is now with my Lord Jesus Christ, her work here is completed. She was an inspiration to me and she helped me in so many ways especially when I lived with my Grandmother Martin from 1969 thru 1972. She taught me how to live right, do well in school, learn good work ethics. When I was hungry she fed me and I could talk to her about anything, she would always give you an honest reply. I look back on those years with fondness and I tell stories to young people about my Aunt Autrice and others in the Martin family in hopes that it will help them to make it. Aunt Autrice did so much to help so many; rest in peace Aunt Autrice. Howard Meade - Los Angeles, California

I’ll never forget choreographing the dancers on the set of the production of the musical “Purlie Victorious” at the Clarksburg Art Center with Autrice. She was an excellent producer and master planner of anything she set out to achieve. She’s kept me and the dancers “on our tippy toes” from start to finish. Thanks for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. The opportunity was amazing Autrice. Now REST IN HEAVEN & Be GOOD up there.
