The Harker side of Bruce's family deeply mourns his passing. We are also distressed in that we lack information as to the circumstances of Bruce's untimely death. We have no contact information through which we might personally convey our condolences or seek knowledge as to Bruce's final years and his passing. Perhaps our cousin Rick Alker is best suited to communicate with us, and I hope that Rick sees this message and will contact me at tlhwvu@gmail.com or 240-507-2671

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Bruce. We love you all even though distance separates us. You have been there by our side when we suffered loss and we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

What a blow to Bruce's family and friends! The Alkers and we Harkers and the friends whom Bruce leaves behind must now make do with less of the virtues which brighten our lives: exceptional decency and uncommonly good humor, strong suits which Bruce displayed in abundance. Bruce was thoroughly likeable and always enjoyable, and when we were boys, he was a super-fun fishing buddy. I always thought that Bruce would live to a ripe old age, happy with his lot in life, and when his time came to leave it, as impressive in the leaving as he was in the living of it. My dear cousin has died way to soon.

Bruce was not only my supervisor at Alker Tire but also a good friend. He, Rick and P.K were like family. Patty, I am sincerely sorry for your loss. I have only good memories of Bruce. Take care. My prayers are with you.

So sorry for the family. Bruce and his family, when I was a child, were always very kind and loving. Bruce was a guy who was respectful, compassionate, and caring. He had a wonderful sense of humor. I'm sure he will sorely missed by many people.

I am saddened to learn of my cousin Bruce’s passing. My brothers and I shared many wonderful memories of time spent with Bruce as we were growing up together in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Rest in Peace, dear Bruce.
