Don retired from Union Carbide in 1998 after working for over 30 years. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad. He rode his Harley Davidson motorcycle and enjoyed his boat and four wheelers. With his close friend, Steve Heflin, he built a log cabin on the family farm. Don and Jeanne loved to travel and went to almost every state; he especially loved traveling out west. Don was a believer in God and was a member of Bible Baptist Temple.
