Donald Obert “Don” Dean, 80, of Stonewood passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 at his residence.

He was born in Clarksburg on November 15, 1942, a son of the late Jake and Louise Fox Dean.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Lee Williams Dean, whom he married on February 14, 1983.

Also surviving are one sister, Brenda Kline and her husband David of Martinsburg; one step-daughter, Deborah L. Powell of Stonewood; and two step-grandchildren, Christina F. Powell and Samantha M. Lyman.

He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronald Dean; two sisters, Frances “Sissy” Gerrard and Linda Shackman; and his step-grandson, Jeremy Powell.

Mr. Dean was a United States Army veteran and a retired electrician and plumber with Barecroft, Inc. Don was also a member of the Mountaineer Car Club.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Dean will be cremated.
