I have often thought about Laura & the family over the years. She was always such a sweet & loving person. Growing up with the Jefferies as our neighbors was fun. Kenny & I were more like brother & sister then friends. Laura would come over and her and mom would sit and talk for hours. When me and Kenny would argue as kids always do, Laura would tell my Mom on me. Mom would say you be nice to Kenny. Our Dads would encourage us to fight it out, not Laura she was the peace maker & mom often took her side. I have so many memories of my early years with the Jefferies family. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting thier daughter. I moved away & everyone's lives moved on. My love, thoughts & prayers are with each of you in this difficult time. I am thankful that Laura was a part of my life if even for a short time. With Love, Bobbie Murray Hamby My Dad Bob Murray also sends his condolences.

Barbara and family: So sorry to hear of Laura's passing. I remember the many times we used to play together as kids when I visited my Grandma, Martha Henline. I also remember that sometimes Laura would simply wander through the side door, through the house, and into the bedroom where my sis/cousins and I would sleep; and she'd stand there just looking at us until we woke up. She was always ready to play! God's blessings to all.

You were the closest friend I ever had and knew me better than I knew myuself. You were always happy and positive and we shared everything on our minds. I am very sorry you lost your brave battle, but I was more sorry to watchyou lose your energetic life piece by piece; it hurt to watch you fade away. So now I am glad you are free of the cage you were in for so long and I know you are at peace. We had many many good memories, some bad, some sad, but more good. I'll love you forever "Henry" (our pet nickname for each other), and I will see you again. Many prayers and sympathy for your family~ you will be greatly missed. Susie
