My heart goes out to both Patsy and Christian. It is hard to believe we have grown up and are now getting to that place in our lives when we are losing loved ones and having to face the fact that we are not going to be around forever. Where did the years go? I know how much she meant to you both. Cherish the memories and be thankful to have such a wonderful blessing in your life. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My memories of Sally, “Corky,” are of her time as a sales associate at Oliverio’s Bridal. For years the store carried a variety of clothing, jewelry, and shoes in addition to all of the beautiful bridal wear and prom attire. One day, on an impulse, I stopped in at the shop. Sally “Corky” greeted me with that smile and the two of us with the same name bonded. For years, Corky served her clientele with such dedication! She was a beautiful woman inside and out, and she loved to help her customers find the “perfect” outfit or gown, so that we would feel beautiful, too. Corky loved to tell us all about her family—that smile glowed and the pride showed in her beautiful face—she just sparkled. God has a new Angel who will continue to watch over her loved ones. R.I.P. dear Corky!

Dear Patsy and family. I was really saddened when I heard that Corky had passed away. She was my land lord when I rented her house in the back of her home. Me, my wife, and daughter (Cathy) lived there for 4 yrs. (1971-1975) and then we moved a few feet away in the house beside Corky for 6 yrs. (1976-1981). So, after 10 yrs. we got to know the Trecost family really well. When I went over to pay my rent, she always greeted me with a big "Smile". My daughter, little Patsy and Christian played together in the back yard and they always got along together and had a good time. Corky was a wonderful lady and she will be missed by many. You and your family are in my thoughts prayers today. May God comfort and bless you always. (RIP Corky)--Larry G. Crislip

Patsy, Patsy and Christian, sending prayers for comfort to you all. Corky was a beautiful woman, whose smile lit up any place she walked into. It was obvious how much she loved you all. I remember seeing her a lot walking the trail at the VA. She’s always encourage me to keep going. R.I.P. Corky. You’ll see her again one day. God bless...

Mrs. Trecost, or \"Corky\" as we all called her, was one of many of the \"second mothers\" those of us having the honor to grow up in North View had to fall back on. Many of my most memorable moments took place on that street and inside the home she created on Hamill Avenue. She was simply a good woman, wife and mother. I saw it before I was a teenager and nothing in my lifetime ever changed that position. There is no better legacy than that. Corky raised two boys, two men now, that I call my friends in Patsy and Christian. That alone would make me forever in debt to Corky, but there was always more from rides to the VA Pool to stopping at the Canteen and treating me to the \"Big Ray\" and so many other things that just made my youth the most joyous time of my life. And as I grew into an adult, she always had a kind word and a smile. Big Pat, Patsy and Christian, please know she changed her little corner of the world and made it fun and welcoming for all of us. Know I\'m always here for you guys and know my love and appreciation of all that\'s taken place between us can\'t be burned by the flame of time because of what your mother created. May God grant you peace and may you know I\'m always within reach. Love to you all.
