Just got back from visiting Donny at the funeral home. I got to see Donny one last time, and to reminisce with Vinny. I have known Donny since I was 12 years old. Now I am 66. That's 54 years as a friend of one of the finest men I have ever known. I remember very well when, at that young age, Donny would come to visit with my sister and family. He would always let me sit behind the wheel of his car and pretend that I was driving. He promised that when I got my driver's license, he would let me drive his car, and he followed through with that promise. Thank you Donny.

We are both so very sad to hear about Donnie's death. I have known Donnie since high school, and he was my Best Man at our wedding. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family. He will be missed. Our half century of friendship was priceless, and I'll miss you, pal.

The size of one's heart is not measured by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others. I'd say with 8000 views (& still going), and a 7 hr funeral, "Cuz" Donnie's heart was as big as it can be ! You will be greatly missed by so many! Love sent from your family here on the West coast ! Vince, Our condolences for the loss Dominick. RIP. "Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you & your brothers who, hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of Prophecy." Revelations 19:10

Vinnie and family...my heart was saddened when I learned of Donnie's passing. There are no words to express our deepest condolences. I was blessed to have shared so many good times with Donnie and Vinnie. Always had a great time over the years at the many Italian Festivals. Recently had the opportunity to go on the Honors Flight to DC with Donnie. What an amazing experience! Donnie was a great guy. I will miss you old buddy.

Donnie was a longtime member of the Pittsburgh Tri-State Chapter NCRS and participated in many of our events, especially the judging events. He was a valued member of our C4 judging team but would help wherever he was needed to make our events a success. Donnie you will be missed and we will keep you and your family in our prayers. Our Chapter will be donating a brick at the National Corvette Museum in Don's honor.

Donny was a long-time and very good friend from high school on. We always stayed in contact and visited each other at the WVU home basketball games to catch up on family and friends. He was a good man with a big heart and a wonderful father and grandfather. I have so many memories of my time shared with Donny that I will always cherish. He, like my, husband, Tom, was an avid car enthusiast. They often talked cars when we would see Donny at the games. How Donny loved his Corvette! I know that, if there are roads in Heaven, Donny will be burning some serious rubber on them. Rest in peace, my friend.

Our deepest condolences to Vinny and family. Donnie was a hardworking businessman, a great family man and a great person. I will never forget the passing of the M&Ms at the WVU football games. If you were in the seats, you were passed the M&Ms. It was a fun tradition. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Vinny, Jamie & Johana, Words cannot express how sorry I was to hear of Donnie's passing. The world has lost a genuinely good person. Wherever there was a football game, be it Morgantown, Pittsburgh, Annapolis, New Orleans or Texas, Donnie always made you feel like a valued guest at the tailgate party. My two sons grew up attending tailgates with the Oliverio brothers. When ever I told them we were going to a WVU game, the first thing they wanted to know was if we were going to tailgate with Donnie & Vinny. I will forever be grateful for Donnie's friendship through the years. May he rest in peace.

When I returned to WV four years ago, I joined the Y so that I could drive my aging father to his swimming 3 times a week. There I met a group of men, one of which was Donnie, who had been regulars there for years. Donnie and I became friends very quickly and we'd spend a lot of time talking about Maryland,; Glen Elk and the history of Italians in this area; Mountaineer sports; and his beloved daughters and granddaughters. Donnie was the person I would go to if I needed any kind of service in the area--he knew just who to call. My heart is so heavy with the news of his unexpected passing; his Y family now has a hole in its core that will never be replaced. To Vinnie, his sister, and his daughters and granddaughters, I will keep you in my prayers and ask God to give you the strength to guide you through this difficult time. Psalms 121.
