Family and friends may call at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in Bridgeport Cemetery.

I was very saddened to learn about James’ passing. My deepest condolences to his family. I had the pleasure of being his doctor for many years. He was a wonderful gentleman and I always enjoyed his office visits. We often talked about WVU sports at the end of every visit. I am sure he will be greatly missed by many as I will miss him as well.
