William Joseph Livesay, 65, of Mt. Clare, WV, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the United Hospital Center, following a brief illness.
He was born in Clarksburg, WV, on February 18, 1961, a son of the late Harry Jackson Livesay Sr. and Tressie Murphy Livesay.
William is survived by two brothers, Michael Livesay and wife Ann of Buckhannon, and Jackson Livesay and wife Monica of Mt. Clare; two sisters, Jackie Stutler and Becky Jackson both of Mt. Clare; and several nieces and nephews, Michael Livesay II of Buckhannon, Amy Maditz and husband Derek of Buckhannon, Lacey Gregory-Bonnette and husband Sean of Fairmont, Becca Jackson of Mt. Clare, Aric Stutler of Mt. Clare, Doug Stutler of Mt. Clare, Tressa Anglin and husband Chris of Philippi, Trenton Livesay of Mt. Clare and Hailea Livesay and companion Trenton of Clarksburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Linda J. Gregory and one nephew, Tommy Gregory II.
William was a graduate of South Harrison High School and was a tree trimmer for Penn Line Tree Service. William loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting.
