Dear Mason Family, We were fortunate to meet your Grandfather and Father Keith Mason last June on the first night that his famous steam engine ran. Edwin and Joy Winet, regulars, brought us while we were visiting from California. We enjoyed the ride, my Father was a railroad engineer for almost 40 years with the Union Pacific. We were honored to meet Mr. Mason who so graciously invited the public to enjoy his train. We send our sympathy and prayers for your family. We pray that you claim God’s promises of eternal life. Keith Mason touched many people. Rebecca and Larry Berge, Mission Viejo, Ca.

To The Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I did not personally know Mr. Mason, but was moved to express my sincere condolences after reading his obituary. I was so impressed with his many accomplishments. I know he will be dearly missed by many. I understand that this is such a difficult time. Something that has helped me to cope with the loss of a loved one is the Bible's promise of a resurrection (Acts 24:15). God also promises to soon fix the world's problems and turn the earth back into a paradise, just like He originally intended when he first created Adam and Eve. May you find a measure of comfort from Revelation 21:3,4 which says that soon, "God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more". Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Jean & family...we surely will miss seeing Keith at the train. We thought it most fitting that he would pass on a Wed nite. ;). The most beloved night of the week for him as he ran that train along with so many friends. We love you all & pray for peace & comfort in these coming days. We love you very much & hope to see you again soon. The burial spot is lovely! What a wonderful resting place.

I am so sorry to hear if Mr. Mason's death. What a wonderful legacy he leaves - his daughters, whom I taught in Middle school - and his love of railroads which thrilled children for many yea rs! I remember bringing both of my children several times, and I think I enjoyed it as much as they did. Rest In Peace, dear man.
