There are no words that seem adequate enough to convey my deepest sympathy’s for your loss. He was loved by so many and cherished by all, he will be greatly missed. I will miss the “oh I just got in my truck and this is where I ended up (Ohio). He always had a carefree way about him, a joke or a smile. The only comfort to be had in this tragedy is: that he is once again united with his siblings. Uncle Sonny would also want me to acknowledge his and Aunt Janie’s fur babies. I am so very sorry for their loss. May you find peace in that they will accompany him to Heaven ??

Words can never help the healing process of losing such a great man. I wish the whole family comfort in their time of struggles. I never had a Dad, Sonny was the closest to that met him and Janie in 2006. Sonny always had something funny to say and ways to make anyone laugh. The war stories he would tell me or recipes and show me how to make them. This is a great loss for many that he knew personally or crossed paths with. He never knew a stranger it seemed. Their door was always open if you needed to talk or just stop in for a soda or coffee. Sonny lived life but most of all that man adored his wife and his children and grandkids. Writing this is making me cry but it is also good and sweet things about a honorable man. Rest in peace papa love you.....
