So very sorry for your loss. I worked with Joe at Lynch-Stacy Funeral Home from around 1969-1974 while in my senior year in high school and then while a student at Fairmont State. He was a great guy, always helpful to me and "taught me the ropes" while at Lynch-Stacy. I remember once when Joe and I were washing the business' vehicles for Mr. Stacy. After we finished, Joe decided he would wash his own car. If I recall correctly, it was a white Ford Galaxy. Joe gets out the can of comet, wets the car down, and starts sprinkling the car with the Comet. I commented "Are you crazy putting that on your car?" Joe replied "Just wait til you see it when we're done!" 🙂 May Joe rest in peace. Chris Ballard, Shinnston

Shirley: We are so sorry for your loss. I have always thought a lot of you and Joe. We had such fun on Wednesday night bingo with Joe calling bingo for us at the VFW Post. It was also a joy to have Joe as our "adopted" veteran. Glenna Grimes and I loved visiting you home. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and the family. If there is anything we can do, please let us know. I am afraid to come out to the funeral home with the virus situation. We have not traveled off our farm for over a week. Love to you Shirley.
