Dear Hanner Family, Monica and I are truly sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. Death brings so much grief. However, God promises “there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both the just and unjust” (Acts 24:15). That promise provides a real hope of being reunited with our dead loved ones. Jesus promised at John 5:28,29 “the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice and shall come forth”. Can we really believe what the Bible says? Yes! God is the Creator of life (Ps 36:9). The One who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died. Furthermore, God is eager to do it. He hates death, views it as an enemy (1 Cor 15:26). He yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and see them live again. We hope these Scriptures bring your family comfort and hope.
