Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Thursday, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Catholic Funeral Rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the funeral home with Deacon John Yaquinta presiding.   Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Lucille Minardi “Lucy” Henline, 98, of Bridgeport, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at White Oaks Assisted Living, following an extended illness.

 

She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on April 18, 1921, a daughter of the late Guiseppe and Rose Curia Minardi.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband Hollis Henline, whom she married on March 20, 1948.

 

Mrs. Henline was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by seven brothers, Matt Minardi, Paul Minardi, Tony Minardi, Sam Minardi, John Minardi, Joe Minardi and Pat Minardi; and four sisters, Mary Fine, Kate Fragman, Virginia Minardi, and Mary Minardi who passed at age 16.

 

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

 

Mrs. Henline was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, and formerly was a florist for Dudley’s and Rose of Sharon and worked for J.C. Penney. She was a member of Harrison County Senior Center.
