Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 6:00 p.m. with Reverend Brian Boley presiding. Per his request, he will be cremated following the service. Inurnment will be in the WV National Cemetery at a later date where full military honors will be accorded.

Ronald E. “Ronnie” Huff, 71, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness.

He was born in Clarksburg, WV, on July 30, 1948, a son of the late Howard E. and Emogene Mae Lowe Huff.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kay Dodd Huff, whom he married on May 25, 2004.

Also surviving are three sons, Ronald “Shane” Huff of Fairmont, Christopher Michael Huff of Fairmont, and Jamie Lynn Huff and wife Ashley of Mannington; three stepdaughters, Crystal Wamsley of Wellsburg, Renee Boone and husband Darrell of Clarksburg, and Carrie Lipps and husband Jimmie of Weston; two stepsons, Andrew Locke and wife Cortnie of Clarksburg and Larry David Miller of Mt. Clare; several grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by one brother, Neal Huff of Weston, and two sisters, Brenda Huff of Weston and Donna Mullins and husband Richard of West Milford.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Huff was preceded in death by three brothers, Wayne Huff, Kevin Huff, and Hayward Huff.

Ronnie attended Unidis High School and proudly served his country as a veteran in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a combat wounded veteran and received the Purple Heart Medal. He retired from the Maintenance Department at AGC Glass Company and was Methodist by faith. Ronnie loved music, off-roading, and was proud of his service to his country. Above all, he loved his family and friends and will be sadly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
