A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Stonewood with Father Kumar Reddimasu as Celebrant.  Inurnment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Angela Marie Abruzzino of Clarksburg went home to Heaven on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at her brother’s residence following a brief illness.

She was born October 9, 1947 in Stonewood, WV a daughter of the late John and Anna Bellotte Abruzzino of Stonewood WV.

She is survived by her four siblings; James Abruzzino and wife Karen of Mt Clare WV,  Mary Jo Lopez and husband Vince of Clarksburg WV,  Kathy Riggleman and husband Rod of Clarksburg WV, John Mark Abruzzino and wife Phyllis of Hubbard OH; nieces and nephews Annamarie Abruzzino and husband Joey Malfregeot, Joseph Abruzzino, Andrew Abruzzino, Sam Lopez and wife Lori, Angie Riggleman, Amy Coleman and husband Mark, Annette Hitt and husband Rickey, Rodney Riggleman and wife Emily, Vito Abruzzino and wife Courtney, Gina Ries and husband Matt; great nieces and nephews Aaron Abruzzino, Amia Malfregeot, Salvatore and Sergio Lopez, Maria Powers and husband Kerry, Sierra and Gabby Parsley, Julian, Katie and Olivia Hitt, Aubrey, Grace, and Anna Riggleman, Autumn Abruzzino, and Aria and Anthony Ries; great great neice and nephew Sofia and Noah Powers.

Angela grew up in Stonewood WV where she attended church at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. She attended school at St. Mary’s grade school and then high school at Notre Dame High School Class of 1965. She was a graduate from West Virginia University where she received her master’s degree in business psychology. She moved to Pittsburgh, PA after college and loved the city. She made countless friends while living in PA who became a part of her extended family. Angela always made time to come home to WV to spend time with her family. She worked for and retired from the federal department of mine safety and also began a career in real estate, where she thoroughly enjoyed being a realtor and helping people find homes to love.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was one of her biggest devotions in her life. Always praying for everyone she loved and cared for. She loved being out with family and friends, listening to live music, being outside in the sun and taking trips.  She resided in Canonsburg, PA until she came home to WV to live with her family.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Mt Clare WV.
