Family and friends may call at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Carl Radcliff presiding. Honoring Jeffery’s wishes, he will be cremated following the services.

Jeffery R. Freeland, 56, of Clarksburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at the Madison Center in Morgantown.
He was born in Clarksburg, on October 22, 1967, a son of the late Delbert Lee and Mary Ellen Shreves Freeland.
Mr. Freeland is survived by three sisters, Phyllis Mills of Weston, Kim Beatty and husband Frank of Clarksburg, and Sandra Freeland and companion Richard Rush of Clarksburg; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind special friends Ruth Ann Adams, and Paul Lynch.
In addition to his parents, Jeffery was preceded in death by his daughter, Alyssa Freeland, sister, Betty Bowman, brother, William Freeland, nephew, Timothy Mills, niece, Jennifer Mills, and his best friend, Roger Coffman.
Jeffery attended Washington Irving High School and was the Janitor in the Maintenance Department for Clarksburg Towers for nearly 20 years.
