Obituaries

Bonnie Lee Wetzel Britton, 80, of Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the United Hospital Center.  She was born in Mt. Clare on August 8, 1936, a daughter of the late Lee Roy and Zona Meadows Wetzel.

Surviving are two sons, Charles Edward Britton of Nutter Fort, and Robert Leroy Britton of Clarksburg; four daughters, Bonnie L. Mehal and her husband John of Lawton, OK, Charlotte Ann Kesling and her husband Sherman of Clarksburg, LaWanda Jo Jones and her husband Frank of Clarksburg, and Sheryl Marie Price and her husband Christian of Clarksburg; 11 grandchildren; Christine McBride and her husband Charles, Sherman Kesling, IV and his partner Jennene Trickett, Leigh Anna Hinzman and her husband Jeremy, Anastasia Kindel and her husband Damon, Christopher Jones, Zackary Jones  and his partner Shandel Bunnell, Joshua Britton, Matthew Britton, Isaac Britton and Braydon Cain; seven great grandchildren;  Sherman Kesling, V, Xavier and Xi Price, Lauren McBride, Wyatt and Emmett Hinzman, and Casen Jones; one sister, Betty Jo Riffle of Clarksburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was a Certified Nursing Assistant for most of her life.  She loved sewing, reading, crocheting and quilting, and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates Fan.  She was Methodist by faith.  Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and she was adored by all of her family.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 11:00 am.  Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
