Carolyn Sue Dodd Murray, 79, of Mt. Clare, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Tygart Center in Fairmont.
She was born in Clarksburg on July 28, 1944, a daughter of the late Dale and Edna Short Dodd.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Lee “Konk” Murray; three children, Greg Hawkinberry of Mt. Clare, Tomeeka Langer and her husband Eric of Mt. Clare and Shawnee Lewis of Hurricane; three grandchildren, Gideon Langer, Geneva Langer and Brenden Lewis; and two siblings, Walter Dodd and Nancy Dodd.
She was also preceded in death by four siblings, Mary Lou Ferguson, Richard Dodd, Steve Dodd and Raymond Dodd.
Carolyn spent her last few years playing bingo and gardening with her friends at Genesis Healthcare Tygart Center in Fairmont.
In keeping with her wishes, Carolyn will be cremated.
