Dixie (Sindledecker) Clemens, 71, of Stonewood, WV, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023, at her residence.

She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on November 6, 1951, a daughter of the late Arnold and Lena Maxine (Thompson) Sindledecker.

Mrs. Clemens was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Clemens.

She is survived by her daughter Carrie (Adam) Sauls of Arizona; grandchild Shannon of Albuquerque, NM; other grandchildren; several nephews, nieces, and cousins; as well as several lifelong friends that she cherished.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dixie was preceded in death by her brother, William Sindledecker, and two sisters, Joanne Combs and Zina Prince.

Dixie was a graduate of Charlotte High School Class of 1969 and a former Real Estate Broker and General Manager of a Tourist Complex in Florida.

She enjoyed embroidery. She loved researching genealogy and was a member of the National Historical Society. She was an animal lover who loved her dogs, Teddy, Freddy, and Ollie.

Honoring Mrs. Clemens’ wishes, she will be cremated.
