William Jeffrey “Jeff” Michael, 69, of West Milford, WV passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the United Hospital Center following an extended illness. He was a former resident of Genesis Nursing Facility in Salem, WV.

He was born in Clarksburg, WV on May 15, 1954, the son of the late Earnest and Martha Westfall Michael.

He is survived by two sisters: Frankie Kelly of Stonewood, WV and Connie Michael Reynolds of Clearwater, FL, one brother, Tim Michael and wife Raelynn of West Milford, WV, sister-in-law, Dacia Michael, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers; Earnest “Lynn” Michael and Roger Michael and brothers-in-law; Leighton Kelley and Ken Reynolds.

Jeff was a laborer by trade, kept to himself and loved being outdoors, especially tending to his garden. He also enjoyed being around family and children.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, where a Memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
