A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, 126 E. Pike Street, Clarksburg, WV on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 10:00am with Father Casey Mahone officiating. In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Bombardiere will be cremated following the Mass. A private family inurnment will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made out in Dominick’s memory to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Dominick Francis Bombardiere, 91, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Bombardiere was born on March 25, 1930, in Clarksburg, WV, a son of the late Salvatore and Annie Ligammari Bombardiere.

He is survived by his wife Debra Kay Stanley Bombardiere, who he married on July 17, 1981.

He is also survived by his eight children, Dominick Gene Bombardiere of Bridgeport, Margaret Ann Walter and husband Mitchell of Morgantown, Salvatore “Sal” Bombardiere of Clarksburg, Mark Bombardiere and wife Paula of Clarksburg, Mario Bombardiere and wife Tricia of Bridgeport, Chad Bombardiere of Clarksburg, Ryan Bombardiere and wife Joanne of Germany, and Jaclyn Massengale and husband Grady of Clarksburg; two step-children, Scott Nicholas of Clarksburg and Jason Nicholas of Bridgeport; twenty grandchildren, Crystal, Nicholas, Alex, Autumn, Bridget, Marie, Donna, Salvatore, Jocelyn, T.J., Cassie, Carrie, Christopher, Zach, Alexis, Dominick, Laila, Giana, Grady and Collin; brother, George Bombardiere and wife Barbara of Hilton Head, SC; three sisters, Angeline Huffman and husband Edward of Clarksburg, Rose Mary Greynolds of NC, and Mary Ann Billingsley and husband Barry of Winston Salem, NC; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Larry Bombardiere, Albert Bombardiere, Vincent “Jiggs” Bombardiere, and Tony Bombardiere; and two sisters, Mary Angeline Bombardiere and Josephine Beeson.

Dominick was an Army Veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of Bombardiere Plumbing and Heating, proudly serving the Clarksburg area for over 65 years as an expert plumber and HVAC technician. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney. He spent his free time gardening, cooking and bird watching and was a lover of nature. He was Catholic by faith and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Most of all he was a loving husband and father who enjoyed spending time with all his family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, 126 E. Pike Street, Clarksburg, WV on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 10:00am with Father Casey Mahone officiating.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Bombardiere will be cremated following the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made out in Dominick’s memory to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
