Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm where a Prayer Vigil will also be held.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 8092 S. 3rd Street, Stonewood on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10:00 am with Reverend Father Father Kent Durig as Celebrant.   Entombment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Eleanor Jean Petrigac, 77, of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.  She was born in Clarksburg on August 28, 1938, a daughter of the late John George and Josephine Veronica Bohensky Petrigac.

Surviving are three brothers, John G. “Sonny” Petrigac of Pittsburgh, Daniel P. Petrigac and his wife Nancy Jo of Clarksburg, and Francis A. Petrigac and his wife Jan of Bridgeport; one sister, Veronica Carter and her husband Pat of Boston, MA, and several nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Brunetti.

Ms. Petrigac was in the first graduating class of Notre Dame High School, and was a retired investigator for the Complaint Department of the WV Department of Highways with over 30 years of service.  She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and served as Secretary for the Catholic Daughters for many years.
