Gianna Grace Surock born October 8,2023 gained her angel wings on October 10,2023 at Ruby Memorial surrounded by her family.

She was born to Gino Surock and Tiffani Bonnell, Salem WV. She is the granddaughter of Tom and Theresa Surock of Clarksburg, WV, and Mindy Matson and Joshua Bonner of Salem, WV. She has one aunt, Maddie Bonnell of Clarksburg, WV and two uncles, Tommy Surock of Clarksburg WV and Justin Williams of Clarksburg, WV, as well as her little cousin Emersyn Williams. She is the great granddaughter of Matt Fogg and MaryAnna Wilfong of Clarksburg, WV and Margie Foutz, of Nutter Fort, WV. She is also survived by many extended family members who loved her.

When heavens gates opened Gianna was met by her loving family who proceeded her in death which include her grandpa James “Slick” Bonnell; her Great Grandmas Gertie Fogg and Bonnie Swiger; and her Great Grandpas Tom Surock and Lenard Swiger.

Though her time on Earth was short, our little Princess Gianna was so loved and treasured and not only made an impact on her loved ones but strangers as well. Heaven must’ve needed a beautiful angel. She will never be forgotten and will live on forever in our hearts until we meet again, our precious daughter.

We would like to thank Amos Carvelli Funeral Home for taking care of us during the most difficult time of our lives. Thanks to the nurses at PICU 6th floor and the Staff on 8th floor at Ruby Children’s. Also, pastor Jim and Amy Carder for visiting and praying with us at the hospital and presiding over our daughter’s funeral and all the love and support you have given.

It is with humble hearts, we thank everyone for your love, financial blessings, prayers and for being GIANNA STRONG!

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home.

Private interment will be held by the family.
