Obituaries

Mary Agnes Ancell, 73, formerly of Clarksburg, passed away on July 24, 2016 at the United Hospital Center.

She was born in Weston on August 13, 1942, a daughter of the late Alfred William and Effie Blanch Grogg Rowan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Ancell.

Mrs. Ancell is survived by one daughter, Angie Everett and her husband Scott J. and one son, Jason Ancell, both of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Raymond Koch, John Koch, Olivia Barron, and Cassandra Johnson; six step grandchildren, Brayden Dodd, Shayla Everett, Tritan Everett, Dylan Everett, Matthew Johnson and Brittany Johnson; and one brother, Glen Rowan and his wife Grace of NC.  

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 11 siblings, John Alfred Rowan, Frances Marie Rowan, Kathleen Marie Rowan, Geraldine Rowan, William Robert Rowan, Margarete Rowan, Rex Rowan, Leroy Rowan, Denver Rowan, David Lee Rowan, and Kenny Rowan; and two step grandchildren, Rex Mick and Dakota Lantz.

The funeral service will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Friday, July 29, 2016, at 12:00 Noon with Reverend Bryan Plum presiding.

Per her request, cremation will follow the service.
