Michael (Mike) Edward Domiguez, 74, of Bridgeport, West Virginia, died at Salem Center in Salem, West Virginia after a yearlong illness on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

He was born in San Diego, CA on August 4, 1949 to Edward Dominguez and Arlene May Dillman. Michael moved with his family to Fitchville, Ohio when he was young and he spent most of his childhood in Ohio and attended New London High School before he moved back to California in 1965. Mike graduated in 1967 from Castle Park High School, in Chula Vista, California.

Mike served his country in both U.S Army (6 years)-and U.S. Marine Corps. (August 1979-September 1984) and was proud to be a member of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Domingez and Arlene Dillman; half brother John Nicholas Schafer. He is survived by sisters; Lauana M. (Larry) Craig of Bridgeport, WV; Darline (John) White of Portland, OR and half-sisters; Dorthy (Kenneth) Basham of Holden LA; Sherry Lynn Schafer of Holden, LA. Aunt Rosalie (Rudy) Garcia of Riverside, CA and multiple cousins in the California area. Nieces; Lori (Robert) Pleiness of Fairfax, IA; Michelle (Larry) Davies of Alburtis, PA; Monti Moyer of Kettering, OH. Great Nieces and Nephews; Alex Pleiness, C. Natalya Pleiness, Nicholas Davies, Keira Davies, Morgan (Collin) Gregory and Kyle Moyer.

Mike was an avid fisherman. He had a great personality and enjoyed laughing and making others laugh.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday. December 27, 2023 in the WV National Cemetery.
