In a life time you only make a handful of true friends. Bill was one of those to me. We spent endless hours attending auctions, flea markets and all that goes with it. In addition we regularly played bridge and went out with our wives to dinner. Although we have grown apart in the past few years, I think of him often and will miss him. Condolences to the family. He will be missed.

We are sending our sincere condolences to Bills family in the U.S.A. We have many fantastic memories of Bill during our visits to Buckhannon and also when Bill came across to England and we visited London. I remember him looking up at Big Ben and commenting on how small it was which made us laugh. We spent many happy times at the cabin where Jon and Bill taught James how to fish. We spent many happy times on his boat where he enjoyed showing us the wildlife. Sending love from all your extended Manchester England family. RIP Bill xx

Our condolences to Bill's family. ..a long time friend through Bill and his father and mother. Betty was my first and sixth grade teacher in Upshur County. She was a wonderful person and teacher. Always great to see his dad " Buddy" at WVWC sporting events and in the Acme Bookstore. Bill was a frequent visitor as well, measured and informative, always seemed to have a moment to share a tidbit or an opinion. Haven't seen Bill in a long time. But will always have fond memories of his family and "the boys".
