Johnny and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I still remember all the good times at the Caboose with your mom walking around and talking to the customers, you and your dad bartending and Mike Fowler and the Upsetter's playing their great music. Bittersweet memories of a different time. May God grant you peace and wrap all of you in the comfort of his arms of love. Love always, Martha

Sorry to read of your father's passing. My father was a good friend of his. My dad, too, fought in the Battle of the Bulge. They would share "war stories." As a matter of fact, my dad, John Belcastro, of Shinnston would tell the story of both he and your father coming home after the war. They were on the USS Enterprise. After surviving the war, they encountered a hurricane coming across the Atlantic. He would say the ship went from side to side and they thought they might meet their "end" in the hurricane after surviving the war. Thankfully they made it home safely and landed at Staten Island. Then after being discharged made their way back to West Virginia. Those men were true American heroes. May your father rest in peace. Anita Belcastro Ballard

John and Family, my prayers go out to all of you in the loss of your father. Engine was a good father and a great provider. It seems like yesterday when we were studying for the History final at your place in Morgantown. Again, greatest sympathies. Your friend, Robert W. Faris, Port Orange, Fl.

Johnny and family, I am so sorry to hear about Engine. I always loved coming to the Red Caboose and seeing him and Rosie whenever I hot into town. Thoughts and Prayers with your family

Our deepest sympathy to your family in the loss of Engine. I have many fond memories of Engine and Rose. Our families were deeply connected on the Congo side and very good friends with the Clemente's.
