Family and friends will be received at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service to conclude the visitation at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Kumar Reddimasu as Celebrant on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation services will follow.

Allan Paul Hartman, 71, of Clarksburg, formerly of West Newton, PA, passed away on August 14, 2024, after a brief illness.

Allan was born in Mt. Pleasant, PA.

After Allan graduated from South Huntingdon High School in 1970, he attended California University of Pennsylvania, where he studied Industrial Arts and was a member of the Alpha Kappa Lambda fraternity.

Allan was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Betty Hartman, sister, Iris Hartman, and granddaughter, Aubrey Brawn.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lori Hartman, daughter, Suzie (Matt) Brawn of Topsham, ME, son, Michael (Meagan) Hartman of Clinton, MS, and grandchildren, Braedyn and Lucas Brawn and Jacob and Samantha Hartman. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce Florek, brother, Terry (Stacie) Hartman, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Allan lived a life filled with purpose, joy, and unwavering love for his family. He was known for his warm smile and generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He took great pride in his work at WVU Hospitals, and found immense joy in gardening, the fruits of which he shared with friends and neighbors. He enjoyed long Sunday drives and making memories with his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Allan’s memory to; The Family House at UPMC, 5308 Liberty Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
