Family and friends may call at the St. James Catholic Church, 2107 Pride Avenue, Clarksburg WV, on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm with Father Akila Rodrigo as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Doddridge County.

Anna Joan Devano Taylor, 89, of White Hall, MD, formerly of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 in Maryland.

She was born in Clarksburg on November 23, 1934, a daughter of the late John and Catherine Morano Devano.

She was married to James Taylor, who preceded her in death in 2017.

Surviving are four children, John Taylor and his wife Patty of Delaware, Sharon Butler and her husband Dennis of Abingdon, MD, James Taylor and his wife Mary of White Marsh, MD, and Lori Pace and her husband Craig of White Hall, MD, and; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one infant daughter, Lisa Ann Taylor; and one brother, Sam Devano.

Mrs. Taylor was a graduate of Saint Mary’s High School and a former member of the St. James Catholic Church.
