Cleophus Timothy “Timmy” Hardy, 50, of Lumberport passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024.

He was born in Clarksburg on April 24, 1974, a son of the late James E. Hardy and Vesta Lee Mayle Hardy who survives in Clarksburg.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife of six years, Dawn “Ranee” Lamp Hardy, whom he married on September 21, 2017; four children, Kelsee Grogg of Jane Lew, Alissa Teter of Morgantown, Sierra Hardy of Horner and Makayla Hardy of Horner; two step- children, John Luchuck and his wife Megan of Saltwell and Ashley Santiago and her husband Emil of Lumberport; five grandchildren, Luca Teter and Evan, Alonzo, Kennan and Kemily Santiago; five brothers, Clarence (Melanie) Hardy, James Hardy, Dale (Bobbi Jo) Hardy, Keith Hardy and Darl Hardy; two sisters, Barbara Hardy and Anna Hardy; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and his girls, Camie and Purdie (his dogs) and Jax (his cat).
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Eva Rainer.

Timmy worked for Precision Pipeline and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool and riding his side by side. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

In keeping with his wishes, Timmy will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
